Computer Usage

Computers are available for free use daily up to 3 hours per library card. If you are a non-West Haven resident, a guest pass can be obtained from the Reference Desk.

*Computers automatically shutdown 15 minutes prior to library closing. 

Printing Services

Need to print a document?
Print from one of our computers or send from your phone.

Copies are $.20 per black and white page &
$.50 per color page*.

Scan

Need to email your printed documents or save them digitally? We can scan documents to your flash drive or send them to your email address. This is a free service.

Fax

We can fax your documents wherever they need to go. The cost to fax is $2.00 for the 1st page and $1.00 for each additional page*. You can also add a free cover sheet.

Copiers

We have 2 copier available at the Main Library. One is just outside the Reference Department doors and the other is in the Circulation Department.

You can make black and white copies for $.20 per page and colored copies for $.50 per page. Copiers accept change up to $5.00.

Free Wi-Fi

We have free WI-Fi! Stop by the library to connect any of your electronic devices.

Newspapers

At the Main Library, we have Daily Newspapers available to read while inside the Library. We receive The New York Times, The Wallstreet Journal, and The New Haven Register. Digital access to the New York Times is available under the “Resources” section of our website.

Reference Resources

We have a multitude of Reference Resources available in person and online. We have Job Help, Vet Help, Ancestry, Research Databases, Consumer Databases, & More. You can view an entire list on our website under the “Resources” section.

Chromebooks & Hotspots

We have Chromebooks & Hotspots available to checkout and take home for a 2-week period.
